| A typical XAudioNet layout consists of various remote location sites, a central headquarter and a set of observer terminals. Multiple audio channels are acquired at a remote location site using Xad Audio Acquisition Platform (RL100). Analogue audio is digitized and compressed using a lossless compression codec. The compressed audio streams are stored in a local database and uploaded to the main database at the central headquarters using the secure TCP/IP connection. |
| At the headquarters, observer terminals are connected to the main database in an intranet configuration. Web based management software offers access to XAudioNet providing dynamic control menus that separates administrative and operational functions. |
